The National Museum, Oslo

The National Museum, Oslo

The new Norwegian National Museum, which collects, preserves and exhibits the country's largest collection of art and architecture and design in the country, was completed for 2022.

The new building was designed by Kleihues + Schuwerk Gesellschaft von Architekten. The museum is designed as a “clean cut,” solid-looking building that respectfully recalls its surroundings and existing monuments in the area, such as Oslo City Hall and Akershus Fortress.

From 2018 to 2020, we collaborated with a major installer in the Norwegian capital to supply more than 3,000 DLPA series high induction frameless perimeter linear diffusers.

The need to integrate into environments with high aesthetic research and at the same time to overcome some installation peculiarities, necessitated an in-depth study of the diffusers in question, both from the point of view of construction (elongated profile of the “beak” and special adjustment of the calibration damper) for and sizing (special configurations of the baffles)
